TRI-TOWNSHIP LIBRARY OFFERS SEVERAL EVENTS

Come to the Year of the Tiger Reading Night.  On February 8th at 6:30 pm, a Family Reading Night.  Event is planned at Tri-Township Public Library.  According to the Chinese Zodiac, the year 2010 is the Year of the Tiger which commences on February 14th and ends on February 2, 2011. In the Chinese Zodiac the Tiger is the sign for bravery. This courageous fighter is admired by the ancient Chinese because it keeps away the tragedies of a household:  fire, thieves and ghosts. People who are born in the year of the TIger are generally well liked because of their charismatic personalities.

This is the monthly Family Reading Celebration at the library. We will be honoring the holiday and devoting time to the tiger with crafts, songs, games, stories and refreshments.

Please stop in that evening and bring the whole family for a great adventure. For more information please call Tri-Township Library at 667-2133.

VALENTINE'S DAY IS NOT FOR EVERYONE....TEENS ARE WELCOME TO COME THE LIBRARY FOR OUR ANTI-VALENTINE PARTY FEB. 15TH

Valentine’s Day is filled with emotion, young lovers holding hands, the exchange of flowers and heart shaped boxes of chocolate candy, laughter, joy and love; all of this coupled with the promise of spring coming soon.

Do you hate Valentine’s Day? Every year do you glare at the people who buy into this day to show that special loved one just how much they care, leaving the rest to feel rejected, unloved, and downright inadequate.  If you have finally had enough and you want to take action, you might come to Tri-Township Library

February 15th and celebrate ANTI-VALENTINES DAY from 3 – 5 pm.

“I’m not yours, you’re not mine, be my Anti-Valentine” is just one of the quotes that will explain the gathering.  There will be a display of books and music following the theme.  This celebration is for grades 6 – 12 and will involve games, snacks and fun. Please stop in that afternoon and join us. For more information call Tri-Township Library at 667-2133.
