MINISTRIES UNLIMITED ENTERING $1 MILLION CHALLENGE

Ministries Unlimited is once again participating in The Feinstein $1 Million challenge.

Any donations received in March and April will get Feinstein money added to it. You become partners in what has become the most successful campaign of all times to fight hunger. The more donations made to the Food Pantry, the more of the Feinstein money will be received.

The million dollars will be divided proportionately with a minimum of $250.00 and a maximum of $40,000.00 to any one agency.

Each food item received will be valued at $1.00. Any non-perishable item is acceptable; so the more items you donate, the more dollars will be matched.

Remember, ANY donations from March 1st to April 30th will be counted. All that will matter to us someday is what we did while we were here to help those who needed us. Thank you for your support. For further information, you may visit their web site: www.feinsteinfoundation.org

AMERICAN RED CROSS HELPING WITH HAITIAN RELIEF EFFORTS

Culver’s and Red Cross Partner to Help Support Haitian Relief Efforts

Ten Percent of Sales Day Announced

Culver’s will donate 10 percent of its system wide sales on Tues., Feb. 16, to the American Red Cross Haiti Relief and Development to help aid the relief efforts for Haiti. Culver’s will also collect personal donations at restaurants if guests are interested in enhancing their contribution from the 10 percent fundraiser.

From Culver’s inception more than 25 years ago, community support has remained a continued emphasis for the family of restaurants, which number 400-plus across 17 states. Culver Franchising System, Inc., has a solid focus on charitable giving, which is shared by each franchise partner.

“Doing the right thing is part of the fabric of the Culver’s organization. Supporting causes—whether they help build strong ties to the communities we serve, or in this case, provide aid to the thousands of people affected by last month’s earthquakes—is one of our core values,” said Culver’s co-founder Lea Culver. “Together, we can help make a difference in Haiti.”

“Throughout the years, Culver’s has been an active supporter of The American Red Cross’s initiatives. The generosity of Culver’s and its guests will help ensure that we have the supplies we need to help meet the needs of thousands of victims in Haiti, said Tom Mooney, American Red Cross representative. “The money raised through Culver’s 10 percent of sales donation will go toward providing food, shelter and emotional support for those impacted by the devastation.”

About Culver’s

Culver’s takes great pride in doing it right for its guests at more than 400 independently owned and operated restaurants in 17 states. The owner/operator concept has been a cornerstone of growth for Culver’s since the first location opened in Sauk City, Wis., on July 18, 1984. Culver’s invests deeply in partnerships and programs, including its VIP scholarship program, Culver’s Cares™ charitable program and countless other franchise-driven local efforts.
