    The mission of Administrative Accounting is to protect and enhance the University's financial resources that will best support the University as it builds leaders of tomorrow who will be shaping a changing world.

    Currently, Administrative Accounting is seeking qualified candidates for the role of Accounting Officer. The Accounting Officer is responsible for processing payments to vendors for goods and services purchased by the University. Under general supervision, this position reviews all supporting documents and authorizations required to initiate payments, checks to see if items are received, and verifies invoice amount and other data comply with the terms of the purchase order before entering the invoice for payment.

    Additionally, the Accounting Officer is responsible for resolving all associated problems and differences, answers individual, departmental and vendor inquiries about purchase orders and vendor payments and composes and types correspondence when necessary. This position will also process payroll checks for disbursement, vendor statements.

    3. Work experience which could include bookkeeping, office support, or closely related experience.
