Billing Specialist

Job Summary:  We are looking for a Billing Specialist to join a growing team.  The Billing Specialist will work with account auditing, payment posting, accounts receivable and patient billing. Other duties:

• Work individually and as a team to work through the billing cycle for multiple locations
• Adequately answer patient questions including providing a benefit review
• Perform electronic and paper billing
• Handle phone calls professionally and with courtesy
• Collaborate with team members to problem solve and achieve team goals

Location: Highland, IL
Position type: Full time, Evaluation Hire
Pay: $18/hr-$20/hr BOE
Qualifications

• Experience in medical or dental billing is preferred
• Extremely attention to detail
• Highly organized with the ability to meet deadlines
• Investigative nature
• Passion and dedication to personal growth
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
