Mechanic

Job Summary:  Do you like tinkering with things?  We are looking for multiple mechanics to join a growing team.  The Mechanic will be responsible repairing and maintaining diesel gasoline industrial and submersible pumps.  Responsibilities include:

• Applying your mechanical ability to perform maintenance on equipment
• Safely use hand and power tools to repair, clean, and maintain pumps
• Receive, inspect and stock needed products: oil filters, air filters, pump, hoses, and tools
• Inspect, examine, and test pumps using pressure gauge, hydrostatic testing,
• observation, or other methods
• Assemble and secure pipes, fittings, and related equipment, according to specifications Load, secure, deliver, unload and install pumps

Location: Granite City, IL
Position type: Full time, Evaluation Hire
Pay: $25/hr+ BOE

Qualifications

• 2 years of industrial mechanic experience
• High School or GED or better
• 6 months working in safely in an industrial environment
• 3 months experience and/or training maintaining industrial, mud, vacuum, or submersible pumps
