Ready Mix Driver

Job Responsibilities: 

• Safely drive truck to and from destination applying knowledge of DOT driving regulations and area roads.
• Check loads to ensure product is being hauled in an appropriate and safe manner to adjust to desired level.
• Strive to meet customer expectations and achieve positive customer satisfaction and strategic objectives.
• Maintain equipment in acceptable condition of cleanliness using approved cleaning materials.
• Maintain radio contact with supervisor/dispatch to receive and transmit delivery instructions.
• Complete pre and post-trip inspections on truck equipment and supplies.
• Adhere to all Red-E-Mix DOT and OSHA rules and regulations at all times. Meet or exceed company safety standards.
• Perform other job responsibilities as assigned by management. 

Requirements: 

• Must have valid CDL (Class A or B) 
• High School or GED Diploma Required.
• Ready Mix driving experience preferred but not required, training provided.
• Requires physical dexterity to navigate through and around various job conditions, including climbing, walking on less than optimal surfaces, etc.
• Ability to exert 44 pounds force at 61 inches height (Push) and exert 61 pounds force at 94 pounds.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must be able to drive a manual transmission.
• Pass DOT physical & drug testing - Work Steps Evaluation.
