Vehicle Service Representative

Job Summary: Do you love vehicles?  We are looking for a Vehicle Service Representative to temporarily join a team for a month.  Duties include but not limited to:

• Conduct pre-inspection of vehicles and conduct detailed joint inspection of vehicles to include interior/exterior on vehicle inspection to include all safety equipment, identifying leaks and pre-existing damage
• Prepare property inventory in shipping box to include spare tire, jack, lug wrench, wheel locking device and floor mats
• Perform scanning, uploading, and filing to maintain accurate data files
• Operate a digital camera to record defects and damage on vehicle
• Places and maintains decals on vehicles
• Washes, vacuums, polish and clean interiors and exterior of vehicles
• Respond to routine request by phone, in person, or by correspondence to service member

Location: Granite City, IL
Position type: Full time, Temporary (one month)
Pay: $21/hr (hourly rate $16.77/hr + 4.23/hr (SCA in lieu of fringe on 40 hours per week, not included on any overtime).

Qualifications

• Possess a valid state driver's license and ability to operate a standard transmission
• Previous automotive experience is preferred
• Excellent Interpersonal skills and communication skills – both verbal and written
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Highschool graduate or GED
