HireLevel is seeking an AP Specialist in Belleville, IL
Our client is a global leader in advanced rehabilitation technology, passionate about better understanding for users’ needs and improving their quality of life through state-of-the-art healthcare solutions. Today, those solutions include power wheelchairs, seating and positioning products, power assist, and manual wheelchairs.
This role will report to the Shared Services Center AP Manager, but may take daily direction from the AP Assistant Manager. The role partners and provides support cross functionally to business units and business regions. This role will also learn new and existing software systems and deploy training to employees to support the Shared Service Center team.

Responsibilities of AP Specialist:
• Accurately process and code invoices to ensure on-time payments.
• Adhere to department performance metrics, policy and procedures and controls.
• Work proactively with vendors and internal personnel to resolve invoice disputes.
• Reconcile invoice statements.
• Research and perform vendor data analysis as needed.
• Participate in audit requests and other special projects as required.
• Understand the accounts payable process including general ledger terminology and the general accrual process.
• Develop and maintain successful and positive relationships with business leaders and managers within the organization.
• Other duties assigned.

Requirements for AP Specialist:
• High School Diploma, associate’s degree is a plus.
• 2+ years AP experience.
• Proficiency using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook).
• Experience working in a Shared Service Center desired.
• Proven ability to solve standard problems related to disbursements.
• Large ERP system, Microsoft Dynamics is a plus.
