    e are looking for a talented licensed Structural Engineer to join our Structural team in Illinois. This position could be located in any of our Illinois offices. Our Transportation group is growing and this is a great time to join our team!

    In this position, the candidate will:

      • Independently apply extensive knowledge of principles and practices in broad areas of assignments within Bridge Design.
      • Work on a major project or several major projects of moderate scope with complex features.
      • Review complete project documents for conformity and quality assurance. 
      • Develop new techniques and/or improved processes, materials, or products.
      • Assist upper level management and staff as a technical specialist or advisor.
      • Review and approve scopes, budgets, and schedules for assignments.
      • Prepare proposals or funding applications.
      • Perform other duties associated with the position.

    Qualifications for this role:

      • Bachelor's or Masters Degree in Civil Engineering with a Structural emphasis
      • Professional Engineer (PE)
      • Licensed Illinois Structural Engineer (SE)
      • 5+ years of relevant experience
      • Proficiency with AutoCAD and/or Microstation
      • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
      • Strong communication skills both written and verbal, along with the ability to work well individually or as part of a team are  essential
