  • Campus Site Director - Wyvetter Younge Campus

    POSITION DESCRIPTION:

    In accordance with the mission and values of Southwestern Illinois College, the Campus Site Director is a grant-funded administrative officer on the Wyetter Younge Campus and serves as the college’s primary point of contact for the local communities. This position serves as campus liaison for campus operations on the Wyvetter Younge Campus. The Director monitors campus operations and collaborates with the responsible functional area staff to assist in providing timely and quality campus service and support consistent with established policies and procedures. The Director will represent SWIC’s interest in the community by being active with organizations such as the Chamber of Commerce, Rotary, local and county governments, K-12 systems, ICCB, SIUE, etc. The Director will execute all administrative duties in connection with this assignment.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

     

    1. Master’s degree in an appropriate field required.
    2. Three years of administrative experience is required.
    3. Knowledge and understanding of the East St. Louis community district preferred.
    4. Related experience is higher education including recruitment, budgetary and personnel responsibilities, strategic planning, and program development.
    5. Knowledge of and experience with the daily operations of the areas of enrollment management and recruiting.
    6. A record of dynamic, collaborative, proactive, visionary, and ethical leadership.
    7. Experience with collaborative recruitment and retention strategies.
    8. Experience in supporting a diverse student population.
    9. Community college experience preferred.
    10. Strong analytical and computer skills with the ability to develop, interpret, summarize and present complex data to diverse constituencies.
    11. Must successfully pass a criminal background check prior to hire.

    STARTING PAY AND HOURS:

    Salary Grade 5 on Administrative Pay Scale, ranging $65,182 to $73,619 per year.
