Licensed Aesthetician

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Current Illinois state aesthetician license, required

• Current laser technician certification a plus

• Experience in a plastic surgeon’s or dermatologist’s office, preferred

• Good promotional skills and an ability to recommend appropriate services and skincare products

• Good communication abilities and a customer service orientation

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, but are not limited to:

• Educates and performs skincare procedures and treatments

• Maintains patient skincare records, consent forms and detailed documentation of treatment, products purchased, medications prescribed, complaints, educational information and copies of personalized skincare regimens

• Ensures the skincare room/area exhibits a comfortable and professional look and feel; maintains all equipment for proper operation, including cleaning as suggested by manufacturer

• Coordinates patient care with other providers and med spa coordinators

• Coordinates with med spa team and Marketing Manager to develop promotions and marketing plans

COMPENSATION, BENEFITS, & PERKS

• Full time position (36 -40 hours per week) to include at least one evening.  Additional expectation to participate in events that are held throughout the year.

  • Med Spa Hours of Operation:  Monday - Thursday 8 am - 7 pm; Friday 8 am - 4 pm.

• Hourly plus bonus pay structure
