Qualifications required for testing:
-Must be 20 years old
-United States Citizen 
-Possess high school diploma or equivalent
-Have no felony convictions 
Qualifications required for hire:
-Must be 21 years old
-Possess valid Illinois EMT -B or Paramedic license at offer
-Pass background check, medical/physical screen, psychiatric evaluation & polygraph

Salary Information:
Starting Salary:
    -$57,857.28 Firefighter/ Paramedic
                -$64,296.95 after 1 year
-$51,442.56 Firefighter/EMT -B 
                    -$56,584.32 after 1 year
-Additional increase w/ paramedic license
Important Dates:
-July 24, 2023, 4pm - applications due at Village Hall
-July 27, 2023, 6pm - mandatory orientation
-July 31 - August 2, 2023 -Online testing
-Interviews August 9, 2023 for qualified candidates 
-Preference points due August 19, 2023
