Shifts Available: Full-Time, Part Time, PRN, and Weekend Option. Day (7a – 7:30p) and Night (7p – 7:30a) shifts available.

We are currently looking for a passionate (RN) Registered Nurse – Behavioral Health to join our team!

• Assesses the mental health and medical statuses of patients experiencing acute psychiatric crises
• Develops nursing care plans promoting emotional well-being and teaching patients and families to understand conditions, medications, and self-care skills.
• Fosters a safe and nurturing environment that encourages and reinforces constructive interactions amongst patients
• Assists patients with the development of personal safety plans
• Conducts age appropriate psycho-educational groups
• Administers medications, monitors for side effects and medication efficacy
• Delegates nursing interventions to LPNs and behavioral health technicians
• Communicates and collaborates with members of the multidisciplinary team

Qualifications to be RN-Registered Nurse- Behavioral Health:

• Registered Nurse in Illinois
• Graduate of an Accredited School of Professional Nursing
• Basic Life Support (BLS)– either American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Crisis Prevent (CPI) preferred, can obtain at facility
• New grads welcomed
