• Level 1 Help Desk Technician

    Quackcom is looking for a Full-Time Level 1 Help Desk Technician to resolve basic technical problems for our client base. We are looking for applicants with a thorough knowledge of computer software and hardware and a variety of internet applications, networks, and operating systems. The ideal candidate will have great troubleshooting abilities and attention to detail. Our goal is to make sure that customer value is maintained to the standards set forth by the company.

    Job Responsibilities:

    •  Provide first level technical support to our client base for troubleshooting IT and VOIPphone issues through our ticketing system. Follow up with customers, provide feedbackand see problems through to resolution.
    •  Ensure proper recording, documentation, and closure within ticketing system
    •  Preserve and grow your knowledge of help desk procedures, products, and services
    •  Assist with new client onboarding
    •  Assist with Microsoft 365 administration
    •  Assist with client’s 3rd party vendor relationships as needed
    •  Assist with setting up workstations and necessary peripheral devices
    •  Ensure security and privacy of networks and computer systems
    •  Perform troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve hardware problems (repair or replaceparts, install new hard drives, etc.)
    •  Other duties as assigned


    •  Excellent diagnostic, problem solving & multitasking skills
    •  Strong written and verbal communication skills
    •  Excellent organizational and time-management skills
    •  In depth understanding of diverse computer systems and networks
    •  Good knowledge of internet security and data privacy principles
    •  Degree in Information Technology or related field preferred, previous help desk experiencewill be considered in place of degree
    •  Certifications are a plus (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional, etc.)
    •  Working knowledge of help desk software, databases and remote control preferred but willtrain the right candidate

    Salary range is $30k-$40k based on level of experience. Benefits include bonus pay, paid time off, company sponsored activities and other company perks.
