    Director of Sales & Marketing

    Wisper Internet is seeking a full time Director of Sales & Marketing to join our Business Development team. In this role, the primary responsibilities will include developing growth strategies, interacting with new and existing customers, identifying key opportunities, build brand experiences and drive subscriber growth across Wisper's footprint. You will champion ideas and collaborate with the VP of Business Development, Operations, Customer Advocacy and key external partners on a wide range of marketing activities. These include research, brand strategy, product marketing, planning, and sales reporting.

    The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker, resourceful problem solver, a people management expert who can drive a regional, cross-functional organization at scale. This individual will have a strong track record of successfully influencing and mobilizing teams in a fast-paced environment. This leader will have an entrepreneurial spirit and serve as a liaison in strategic conversations internally and externally.

    Essential Job Functions

    • Direct the marketing team & ensure production meets the budgeted level & program objectives in a timely manner
    • Coordinate & maintain a consistently competent & qualified marketing staff through hiring, training, development, appraisal & motivational processes
    • Serve as the department liaison & lead cross function agent to operations, field marketing & customer advocate.
    • Participate in strategic plan development & building of alliances with industry partners, localities etc. as needed to achieve product growth objectives
    • Lead all aspects of development & implementation of core business, competitive & new product marketing plans & strategies to achieve all subscriber & revenue growth goals
    • Work with VP of Business Development to design, development, & execute executive objectives
    • Ensure the team is maintaining & improving ongoing marketing programs, analyses, & reports to VP of Business Development
    • Other duties as needed

    Desired Skills & Competencies

    • Ideally MBA or business equivalent
    • 5+ years in marketing or business operations role in cable or technology sector
    • A mentorship-focused leadership style

    • Accountable with efficient & consistent follow-thru

    Working Conditions

    • Work is performed primarily in the office at a desk but does allow for remote work
    • Fast-paced environment changing frequently with the technology sector
    • Work is performed primarily indoors but may include outdoors on occasion
