Reporting directly to TCI’s President/COO, the Chief Talent Officer (“CTO”) will develop a talent management strategy rooted in our strong values and traditions but aiming to guide and cultivate progressive initiatives and future growth. With responsibility and oversight for the entire employee lifecycle and HR department, the CTO will serve as an integral member of TCI’s senior leadership team.

YOUR MISSION AS CHIEF TALENT OFFICER
PROVIDE VISIONARY AND STRATEGIC HR LEADERSHIP (Executive Leadership) – Serve as a vital member of TCI’s leadership team, driving results for the HR function to support the company’s overall strategic plan. As a trusted business partner to operations, finance, sales, and marketing, you will execute talent strategies to foster exceptional employee relations and engagement, ensuring HR compliance and innovative and best practice solutions while fostering an appreciation for TCI’s core values and family-owned traditions.
INSPIRE A HIGH-PERFORMING HR TEAM (Team Management) – Serve as an HR thought leader, key resource, mentor, and strategic advisor to our HR Director and a team of four HR professionals. Promote a high level of responsiveness and customer service by developing a passionate team to serve as trusted business partners for internal stakeholders. Drive a healthy sense of accountability and a growth mindset for continuous improvement. Solicit feedback to create an environment that values innovation, inclusion, and continuous improvement and supports close collaboration with regional operations teams and leaders.
DEVELOP & IMPLEMENT A ROBUST TALENT MANAGEMENT STRATEGY (Performance Enablement + Learning & Development) – In close collaboration with senior leadership, you will design and deliver a strategic, multi-year plan for TCI’s approach to talent management. As the architect of the next chapter of our HR strategy, you will implement an employee-centric performance review process that includes 360-degree feedback, promotes career pathing across the organization, and fosters personal growth. You will assess and address training and leadership development gaps while deploying quantifiable metrics to ensure the success of TCI’s HR programs and initiatives.
OVERSEE COMPELLING RECRUITMENT & ENGAGEMENT STRATEGIES (Talent Acquisition & Employee Engagement) – In conjunction with the COO and other key leaders, develop and integrate our branding efforts to ensure a consistent and rewarding value proposition for current and future TCI employees. Support business leaders in assessing TCI’s talent needs and creating innovative strategies around talent sourcing, recruitment, interviewing, and onboarding. Develop a total rewards program that furthers TCI’s ability to attract and retain top talent.
IS THIS A MATCH FOR YOU?
You are passionate about HR transformation, including building dynamic and agile HR teams, partnering closely with senior leadership on HR initiatives, and introducing innovative ideas.
You bring at least 10-15+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, including a demonstrated track record of leading high-performing HR teams, ensuring collaboration and accountability, and developing HR programs rooted in a robust talent strategy.
You have served as a strategic business advisor to executive leaders regarding organizational design and change initiatives to optimize the company’s strategic and operational objectives. You also have the ability and desire to oscillate between strategic and tactical priorities with ease.
You have excellent verbal and written communication skills. You are skilled at relationship building and stakeholder management. You have developed the ability to confidently engage with various stakeholders and react with a service attitude, diplomacy, and tact.
You have gained proven experiences and developed programs and strategies to enable successful workforce planning, recruitment, engagement, career development, and retention.
In-depth working knowledge of HR laws and regulations (FMLA, FLSA, ADA, etc.). Four-year degree in human resources, business, or related field; advanced degrees or equivalent leadership experience is highly preferred.
Demonstrated computer skills, including proficiency with MS Office Applications, cloud-based software, related HR platforms, and data-analysis tools.
