    Wisper Internet is seeking a full-time non-exempt Inside Sales Representative to join our Sales & Marketing Team. In this role, the primary responsibility will be to connect with potential and/or existing customers by building rapport, delivering solutions and closing sales for Wisper. Inside Sales reps provide product knowledge about Wisper services and products as they work to build strong relationships within the communities where Wisper provides service.

    Summary of Essential Job Functions

    • Answer incoming calls from potential &/or existing customers looking for new or upgraded Wisper services
    • Listen to caller's needs & find the right solution for their situation
    • Make outbound calls to potential &/or existing customers
    • Make outbound calls to follow up on leads
    • Stay current with Wisper's product & service information &updates
    • Explain, educate & demonstrate features of products &services
    • Stay informed about competing products & services
    • Upsell Wisper products & services
    • Achieve & exceed sales targets
    • Other duties as directed

    Requirements for Position

    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • Current Driver's License
    • 1+ year of proven successful sales experience
    • Legally authorized to work in country of employment without requiring sponsorship for employment visa status, now or in the future
    • Must pass a background check, MVR & drug screen

    • Telecom or relatable industry experience preferred
    • Ability to communicate effectively via phone, email & message systems
    • Ability to effectively explain service offerings

    • Exceptional organizational skills with ability to multitask

    • Strong listening skills
    • 1+ year of phone-based sales experience
     

    Physical Requirements and Working Conditions

    Fast-paced, environment with multiple changes to schedules and fluctuating priorities. Work is performed indoors, at a desk/on the phone.

    Must pass a background check & drug screen
