Wash Bay Detail Tech

TCI-Troy is looking for a Wash Bay Detail Tech! The Wash Bay Detail Tech is a vital member of our team and is responsible for washing, cleaning, and detailing vehicles to maintain the highest level of customer service.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform thorough detailing to the interior and exterior of vehicles for superior customer satisfaction, including degreasing, washing, vehicle preparation, and interior detailing.
• Ability to safely operate required shop tools and steam-cleaning equipment.
• Maintain adequate supplies of cleaners, conditioners, and laundered items. Assist with restocking supplies when necessary.
• Continually maintain a safe, clean, and orderly work area according to Elite Support and TCI company standards.
• Operate all equipment and handle chemicals in a safe manner, including the proper labeling and disposal of chemical bottles.
• Use of proper personal protective and safety equipment.
• Attend departmental meetings as scheduled and report safety or quality issues immediately to supervisor.
• Perform other tasks as assigned with a continued focus on quality, safety, and customer service.

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1+ years of trade education or relevant work experience
• Valid Driver’s License and ability to meet insurance requirements is mandatory
• Class B or Class A CDL with air brake endorsement is highly preferred
• Basic mechanical aptitude and dexterity with tools and shop equipment
• Strong personal conviction for producing quality work and to safety within a fast-paced environment
• Verbal and written communication skills
• Organized work habits and a keen eye for detail to thrive independently
