    Warehouse Manager

    Wisper Internet is looking for a full-time exempt Warehouse Manager. This role will be responsible for overseeing all of the operations of the Main warehouse for our company. The Warehouse Manager will be responsible for managing and leading all areas of the warehouse operations to achieve company goals, including outstanding operational efficiencies. Areas of responsibility will include safety, warehouse organization, maintaining an accurate inventory, data entry, and ensuring accurate shipment and receipt of equipment. The Warehouse Manager will be responsible for providing the team with leadership, vision, insight and motivation within their areas of responsibility. In addition to managing a team, the Warehouse Manager will also develop and implement short and long term plans critical for warehouse success.

    Essential Job Functions

    • Audit, report & recommend inventory orders & restocks
    • Work with Inventory Coordinator to maintain proper inventory thresholds
    • Maintain an organized warehouse & proactively meet the needs of our growing company
    • Directly supervise a team
    • Monitor work of team & ensure the safe use of warehouse equipment
    • Ensure team is working in a safe manner in compliance with OSHA standards
    • Fully implement Wisper's Core Values within the team
    • Enforce departmental processes & procedures in a firm but fair manner
    • 20% travel
    • Report directly to the Senior Inventory Coordinator
    • Perform other duties as directed.

    Job Requirements

    • High school diploma or equivalent is required
    • 2+ Years of Warehouse Management or Department Supervisor experience
    • Ability to operate forklift effectively & train the team to properly operate a forklift
    • Proficient computer skills
    • Valid drivers license
    • Ability to be added to Company auto insurance
    • Must pass a background check, MVR & drug screen
    • Availability to work extended hours if needed

    Desired Skills & Competencies

    • Some college completion is preferred
    • Excellent understanding of warehouse management procedures
    • Proficient knowledge of inventory & inventory controls
    • Effective communication skills, both written & verbal
    • Proven leadership, organizational, multitasking & problem-solving skills
    • Ability to maintain an organized & efficient workspace, office & warehouse
    • Understanding of Wireless technology is desired; network & computer troubleshooting experience a plus
    • Strong people skills
    • Must be familiar with Microsoft Excel, Word & have the ability to learn company software
    • Proven ability to effectively lead a team
    • Demonstrated ability to properly maintain safety procedures within a warehouse
    • Demonstrated ability to train & develop team members

    Working Conditions

    • Fast-paced environment with multiple changes to schedules & fluctuating priorities
    • Work is performed primarily indoors & in a warehouse that is not temperature regulated
    • Work will require working at a desk & ability to quickly pivot & respond to an issue or receive a warehouse shipment on demand

    Physical Requirements:
    Light: Lifting 0-10 lbs. Moderate: Lifting 0-25 lbs. X-Heavy: Lifting 25+ lbs.
