Summary of the Facilities/Purchasing Manager Position:

Position Summary: The Facilities/Purchasing Manager is responsible for ordering, maintaining and distribution of all supplies and equipment for patients and staff. The Facilities/Purchasing Manager is also responsible for management of facility building, grounds, and equipment.

To be considered for the position, prior experience in facility management and maintenance skills (such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, etc.) are required.

Pay: $77,381 Annually

Schedule: Monday- Friday 8:30 a.m.- 5:00 p.m. with the possibility of some evening and weekend calls regarding maintenance emergencies or issues.

Will be based out of the Belleville Administration Building located at 305 South Illinois Street, Belleville, IL 62220.

Requirements

Position Requirements
a.       Education
1.       Graduate from an accredited high school
b.      Experience
1.       Prior experience in facility management required.
2.       Prior experience in purchasing preferred.
c.       Other Qualifications
1.          Ability to analyze problems and perform duties necessary to maintain facilities.
2.           Good organizational and communication skills.
3.           Accurate and neat with paperwork.
4.           Ability to access organizational supply needs and make appropriate orders.

Physical Requirements: Performs repetitive tasks. Prolonged periods of sitting and of other appropriately. Requires clarity of vision >20 inches and <20 feet. Manual dexterity (eye/hand coordination). Hears alarm and telephone. Bending at waist and knee frequently. Required lifting up to 60 pounds occasionally.
Working Conditions: The Facilities/Purchasing Manager spends approximately 90% of his/her time in an air-conditioned environment with varying exposure to excessive humidity and noise. The remaining 10% of his/her time is spent in various non-air-conditioned climates with varying exposure to humidity and noise.
