This training will address: (1) what happens physically in the stages leading to chronic pain and why it is difficult to treat; (2) the connection between mental health and chronic pain; (3) supportive passive and active therapy options for chronic pain patients and the importance of each.
1.5 CE Credits will be awarded to Missouri Social Workers, Missouri Licensed Professional Counselors & Missouri Addiction Counselors.
Dr. Sarah Lawler is a chiropractic physician who has served the greater St. Louis area for almost five years. As a musculoskeletal physician she specializes in neck and back pain, headaches, and chronic pain. She is passionate about improving the quality of life of her patients, especially chronic pain patients. Dr. Lawler received a Doctorate of Chiropractic and a Master of Nutrition Degree from Logan University.
