Southwestern Illinois College is accepting applications for the full-time union position of Workforce Development Coordinator. POSITION DESCRIPTION In accordance with the Mission and Values of Southwestern Illinois College, this position coordinates contract workforce training for all Academic units. Work includes building classes, assigning instructors, developing contracts and creating invoices. Duties include researching companies and suppliers, and working directly with clients on training schedules and logistics. Independent problem-solving is required. This position works with minimal supervision and will often select appropriate courses of action in accordance with established policies.
QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or GED plus four (4) years of full-time related work experience is required; OR Associate degree in related field plus two (2) years of related full-time work experience is required.
Prior experience in a higher education setting with workforce programming is preferred.
STARTING PAY AND HOURS $20.34/hr. at 37.5 hours per week
