Videographer Intern — World Wide Technology Raceway

Role Description & Pay
World Wide Technology Raceway is looking for a creative, motivated Videographer Intern to support our digital content across NASCAR, INDYCAR, NHRA, Midnight Madness, and other event weekends. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, loves motorsports, and wants real experience running high-reach social channels. Pay Range: ($15-17/hour).

This may be a full-time or part-time role, depending on requirements for college credit and the student’s availability. Major event weeks and weekends may require full-time availability. This position can be a combination of course credit and/or hourly pay. Internships will begin in April 2026 and run through October 2026, with an opportunity to continue through the end of the event season.

Responsibilities:

• Capture high-quality video during race weekends, track events, community activations, and promotional shoots
• Film behind-the-scenes access, driver interviews, fan experiences, and on-track action
• Edit short-form and long-form video content for social media, website, and promotional use
• Assist with real-time video needs during major event weekends (INDYCAR, NASCAR, NHRA)
• Organize, archive, and tag video assets for efficient post-production workflow
• Collaborate with the marketing and social media teams to develop compelling visual storytelling
• Operate camera, audio, and basic lighting equipment in fast-paced environments
• Maintain a professional presence while representing WWTR brand on-site

Qualifications:

• Strong interest in motorsports, live event production, or sports videography
• Experience operating cameras and camera equipment
• Proficiency in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, etc.)
• Ability to work nights/weekends during large events and as needed
• Comfortable working in loud, fast-paced, outdoor environments
• Strong organizational skills and ability to meet tight deadlines

Company Description
World Wide Technology Raceway is a motorsports facility in Greater St. Louis that hosts INDYCAR, NASCAR, and NHRA racing. It is located just a few minutes from downtown St. Louis and features a 1/4-mile drag strip, a 2.0-mile road course, a 1.25-mile oval track, a state-of-the-art karting facility, and a 14-acre dirt off-road event venue.
