Job Summary

The 1st shift Production/Screen Technician at ShirtLaunch plays a pivotal role in the preparation and maintenance of screens used in our screen printing processes. This role requires a detail-oriented and reliable individual to reclaim used screens and prepare them for reuse by applying emulsion coatings. Ensuring the quality and readiness of screens is essential for maintaining the efficiency and high-quality output of our production line.

Responsibilities

• Shift: Monday-Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm, with a 30-minute break
• Pay: $15/hr+
• Work Attire: Casual
• Reclaiming screens used in production by thoroughly cleaning and removing ink residues and emulsion, ensuring they are ready for the next use.
• Precisely applying emulsion coatings to clean screens in preparation for production, adhering to set drying and curing protocols.
• Inspecting screens for any damage or wear.
• Organizing and storing prepared screens in an orderly and accessible manner, ensuring they are ready for quick selection and use in production.
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe working environment in the screen preparation area, adhering to all company and regulatory safety guidelines.
• Coordinating with the production team to ensure a steady supply of prepared screens to meet production schedules.
• Documenting the status of screen preparation activities, including the number of screens reclaimed and prepared, and any maintenance or repair issues.
• Participating in periodic training and development programs to enhance job knowledge and skills.
• Performing other duties as assigned to ensure the smooth operation of the production floor.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a production, screen printing, or similar role is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of screen printing processes and screen preparation techniques.
• High attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet production deadlines.
• Physical stamina and the ability to stand for extended periods, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and adhere to safety guidelines

Job Type: Full-time
