Service Dog Trainer - Got Your Six Support Dogs

Got Your Six Support Dogs seeks a passionate Service Dog Trainer to empower veteran and first responders through specialized service dog training and support.   The Service Dog Trainer will train and prepare PTSD Service Dogs for veterans and first responders through daily obedience, public access and task training.  We offer a flexible work setting - train from home or community locations with required weekly attendance at our Maryville, Illinois training facility.  We are looking for experienced, dependable trainers who love dogs and have at least 5 years of professional dog training experience.  Strong knowledge of operant conditioning is required, along with service dog experience and certifications (IACP, CPT, etc.).    To apply please submit resume an a cover letter outlining your experience and passion for service dog training to:  amanda@gyssd.org (no phone calls please)
