5th Annual Smoke N For The Kids BBQ Festival Returns to Troy August 15-16

TROY, IL — The Troy/Edwardsville Shrine Club is proud to present the 5th Annual “Smoke N For The Kids” BBQ Festival on Friday and Saturday, August 15-16, 2026, at Tri-Township Park in Troy, Illinois. The family-friendly event will feature championship BBQ competition, live music, a bags tournament, car show, great food, cold beverages, and fun for all ages — all while supporting a great cause benefiting children through Shriner initiatives.
 

Sanctioned by the Kansas City Barbeque Society (KCBS), the festival will host both Professional and Backyard BBQ Series competitions throughout the weekend. Each day, competitors will serve their best BBQ for a chance to win up to $9,000. Competitors can compete both Saturday and Sunday, each day awards are at 4:00.
 

Festival attendees can enjoy delicious barbecue, vendor offerings, entertainment, and activities throughout the weekend.
 

Saturday Highlights Include:

• Bags Tournament at Noon with a $1,000 prize
• Live music from Blue Grass Drive 12:00 - 3:00
• Brian Young & The Blue Station Group performing at 3:00 p.m.
• Evening entertainment by the Blue Marlin Band from 6:00 - 10:00, featuring Ainad Brass Band!

Sunday Highlights Include:

• “Rodz & Ribs” Car Show hosted by SISRA
• Registration begins at 9:00 a.m.
• Awards presented at Noon
• Live entertainment featuring Supernova with Scott & Michelle from 12:00 - 4:00

The Smoke N For The Kids BBQ Festival continues to grow each year as one of the area’s premier summer events, drawing BBQ enthusiasts, families, car lovers, and music fans from across the region.
 

Troy/ Edwardsville Shrine Club encourages the public to come out for a weekend of food, fun, and community support while helping make a difference in the lives of children.
