      CONTRACT PERIOD: This one-year contract (July 1 – June 30) will include 260 working days, health benefits, IMRF benefits, and sick & vacation days.

       

      REPORTS TO: Superintendent

       

      Qualifications

       

      Preferred working knowledge of Skyward, BoardDocs/Diligent and Frontline

       
    • Working knowledge of the following modules of Skyward: Student Profile, Demographics, Fee Management, Food Service, and State and Federal Reporting

    • Working knowledge in BoardDocs/Diligent

    • Working knowledge with Frontline Systems

    •  

      Job Responsibilities

       
    • Supports the Superintendent and Board of Education with creating meeting agendas, composing & maintaining meeting minutes, maintaining District policy manual and attending the regular monthly Board meeting

    • Assists with Student Registration, which includes Residency as well as the McKinney-Vento (Homeless) program

    • Assists with district-level student attendance tasks

    • Oversees Student Teacher placements

    • Assumes student services responsibilities including online registration, monthly attendance, food service, & McKinney-Vento homeless program

    • Assists Human Resources & Payroll Departments as needed

    • Source and obtain specific supplies as needed

    • Performs other office duties as may be assigned by the Superintendent in a professional manner

    •

    • Communicate effectively verbally and in writing

    • Establish cooperative working relationships with people in the course of performing assigned duties

    • Knowledge of required licensure and certification for school personnel,

    • Computer literacy with hosted software services and working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Frontline, and Google Apps for Education 

    • Good customer service skills

    • Manage multitasking on several projects with minimal direction,

    • Capacity for working in multiple school buildings and educational environments

    • Organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills
