Building & Zoning Department

The Village of Maryville is seeking a motivated and responsible individual to join our Building & Zoning Department as a Part-Time Summer Help employee. This seasonal position will focus primarily on summer code enforcement tasks and provide assistance with other duties as assigned by the department. Key Duties include performing property inspections and follow up on summer code enforcement issues (e.g., tall grass, debris, property maintenance), and maintaining accurate records and documentation of inspections and enforcement actions. Pay $20/hr. Approximately 20-25/hrs. per week.

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years old and possess a valid Illinois driver's license and have a good driving record.
• Ability to work independently and handle sensitive situations with professionalism.
• Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
