Lateral transfer and entry level-Police Officer

Lateral Requirements: 
1. Must have two years experience as a full time sworn certified law enforcement officer with a municipal, court, or state police department.
2. Pass background check, medical, physical screen, psychiatric evaluation and polygraph.

Entry level requirements
1. Must be 21 years old
2. Valid Driver's License
3. Proof of passing POWER test within 6 months prior to written exam.
4. Pass background check, medical/physical screen, psychiatric evaluation and polygraph

1. Starting Yearly Salary
    Laterals: $79,563
    Entry Level: $74,059
    (4% contract increase in May 2026)
