    Salary: $75,000 - $ 80,000

    Job Summary:  

    Responsible for leading the design, implementation, and evaluation of employee training programs that support the credit union's strategic objectives and help promote a culture of learning. This role will oversee organizational development initiatives and collaborate with leadership to ensure staff are equipped with knowledge and skills to succeed in a member-focused environment.

     

    Key Responsibilities:  

    - Design and execute a comprehensive training and development strategy

    - Leads the planning and delivery of training initiatives, including onboarding, leadership and soft skills enhancements.

    - Participates in development of department goals, objectives, systems and cost controls.

    - Develops and maintains the Learning Management System (LMS) to ensure training requirements are documented and monitored for all employees. 

    - Managing training budgets, vendor relationships, and external learning resources.

    - Oversees development and distribution of internal monthly employee newsletter 

    - Supervise and mentor training specialist, providing guidance and support to maximize impact.

     

    Qualifications:  

    5+ years of experience in training and development, including leadership experience.
     - Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
     - Experience with LMS platforms, e-learning tools, and blended learning models.
     - Excellent communication, facilitation, and project management skills.
     - Financial services or credit union experience is a plus.

    - Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Organizational Development, Education, or related field. 

    Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office - Power point, Teams, Word, Excel and Outlook).
