    Salary: $54,000 - $62,000

We pride ourselves on our commitment to the communities we serve and our focus on delivering an array of financial products for each step in their financial journey.  We are currently seeking motivated and member-oriented individuals to join our team as a Training & Development Specialist.

     

    Job Summary:  

    Plays a key role in facilitating, engaging, effective learning experience for staff at all levels of the credit union. From onboarding new hires to supporting continuous professional development, this position helps create a culture of learning and growth.

     

    Key Responsibilities:  

    Create, organize, plan and deliver engaging instructor-led training sessions (in person, virtually via Teams and off-site)

    - Develop and update training materials, guides, job aids, and e-learning content.

    - Evaluates program effectiveness through assessments, surveys and feedback.

    - Support new employee onboarding and orientation programs.

    - Produces monthly team member newsletter

    - Assist with managing the learning management system (LMS) and maintaining accurate training records.

    -  Collect and track post-event feedback through surveys; Maintains records of training and development activities

    - Stay informed on industry trends and regulatory changes to ensure compliance with training content.

     

    Qualifications:  

    - Three years to five years of similar or related experience.

    - (1) A bachelor's degree, or (2) achievement of formal certifications recognized in the industry as equivalent to a bachelor's degree

    - Strong presentation and facilitation skills, with a passion for helping others succeed.

    - Advanced skills with MS Office programs (Word/Excel/PowerPoint and Teams). 
     - Experience in a credit union or financial services environment is a plus.
